Privacy Policy

Mirror ("Mirror", "we", "us") builds personalized fitness plans that help you train toward a target physique. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. By using the app you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
- Account. Email address and password (stored hashed) so you can sign in and sync your plan across sessions.
- Fitness profile. Height, weight, age, sex, training experience, estimated body fat, days available, equipment, and your chosen goal — used to generate your plan.
- Photos (optional). If you add a physique photo, it is stored for your progress history and analyzed to tailor the plan to your starting point. Photos are optional and you can skip or delete them.
- Activity. Workouts you log (sets, reps, loads), progress entries, and body-weight history.
- Purchases. Subscription status (active/expired). Apple processes your payment; we never see your card details.
- Usage analytics. In-app events (screens viewed, funnel steps) to understand and improve the product.
How we use it
- To generate and adjust your personalized training and nutrition plan.
- To save and display your workouts, progress, and photos to you.
- To operate subscriptions and unlock paid features.
- To analyze aggregate usage and improve the app. We do not sell your data or use it for third-party advertising.
Service providers we share with
We use a small set of processors strictly to run the app:
- InsForge — backend hosting, authentication, database, and file storage.
- AI models via OpenRouter (DeepSeek and Google Gemini) — generate your plan and, if you provide a photo, analyze your current physique. Photos and stats are sent for processing to produce your plan.
- RevenueCat — manages subscription entitlements.
- PostHog — privacy-conscious product analytics.
- Apple — App Store payments and (optional) ratings.
Data retention & deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Profile → Delete account; this removes your profile, plans, workout logs, and progress entries (including photos) from our database. You may also email us to request deletion.
Your choices
- Skip the photo step — the plan still works from your stats alone.
- Delete individual progress entries/photos, or your whole account, in-app.
- Manage or cancel your subscription in the App Store.
Children
Mirror is intended for users 13 and older and is not directed at children under 13.
Security
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored with access controls. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.
Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by a new effective date on this page.
